CONSULTATIONS
Dr Ledger provides assessments and management plans for pets experiencing a variety of behavioural and emotional issues.
Your vet may have recommended Dr. Ledger's services if they feel your pet could benefit from her behavioural therapy.

PROCESS & BOOKING LEAD TIME
All owners who have a valid email address entered on the request form will receive an email information package detailing Dr. Ledger's services and rates. Clients can respond back via e-mail or speak with our office staff to schedule a consultation and answer any questions.
Appointment wait times vary, with most being conducted within 2 weeks to 3 months from the referral date, with priority given to urgent cases.
WHAT TO EXPECT DURING YOUR CONSULT
Your consultation will include a 1-hour virtual call or phone call to go through your pet's history, followed by a second-hour, virtual or in-person session at a designated location. The consultation will take approximately 3-4 hours.
The second hour is hands-on, with a discussion about the concerning behaviour and tactics to address it.
All consultations include the above as well as liaising with your vet, an initial report, and a recommendation to book a 30-minute to 1hr virtual or in-person follow-up.

PET RISK ASSESSMENTS
Risk assessments are comprehensive and include full history taking, site visit and report writing.
